Combining fully hydraulically driven sweepers and the MAN TipMatic1) semi-automatic manual gearbox protects both engine and gearbox: The MAN TipMatic1) SWEEPER gearshift program adapts gearshift points and engine speed to the driving and cleaning mode of the sweeper. This means that fuel consumption is reduced. MAN TipMatic1) SWEEPER can also be used for vehicles with hydrostatic drive.
To MAN TipMaticClever gearshift strategy for refuse collectors: MAN TipMatic1) COLLECT
The MAN TipMatic1) COLLECT gearshift program was developed especially for refuse collector vehicles. The gearshift behaviour of the automated gearbox is adapted to the driving cycle of the refuse collector: frequent moving off, short-term braking. The shortened shifting time reduces the duration of the daily tour and saves fuel. The gearshift strategy is suitable for use with both rear loaders and side loaders.
